Profreight's Work with AFS Haulage
Southampton-based AFS Haulage have been working with Profreight for 4 years, having selected us as their preferred partner for Channel Island shipments following a comprehensive market review.
As the Palletways depot responsible for consignments being sent to and from Jersey and Guernsey, AFS collect and consolidate significant daily volumes of Channel Island freight from other Palletways members nationwide, and rely on Profreight to complete both the shipping and ‘final mile’ delivery of these goods.
Key to Profreight’s selection as preferred supplier was the frequency of shipment to the Islands, with the Ferryspeed Group (of which Profreight is a part) being the only operator to offer a daily service to both Jersey and Guernsey. This enables AFS to offer the Palletways network and their customers a true 2 – 3 day service, and provides a key point of differentiation against other pallet networks and carriers.
